How can I lighten the printed copy output on my LaserJet M551?

Good Afternoon,

 

Hope you are well, there are couple of options, you can try by looking to the printer driver preferences, and select the economode option under the printer effects tab to make it lighter.

Normally to adjust the toner density, if you have the printer over the network, you can take the IP address, put it into a web browser and access the embedded web server of the printer and check for the toner density option underneath the system tab, print density to the left panel, you may be able to control the darker or lighter,
