Product: HP LaserJet 6L

Hello,

 

I am having a real problem to find drivers for this old printer HP LaserJet 6L on Windows 7 64bit. I am asking about it on behalf of someone else. HP support website has drivers but it seems only up to windows XP. I tried to download files, unzip archives and add a printer selecting “Have my own files” but Windows 7 rejects the files.

 

does it really mean the printer can no longer be used? Perhaps someone knows about a website where the drivers can be downloaded from? Many thanks in advance.
