I understand you’ve lost the HP Smart app on your Mac for your OfficeJet Pro 8020 and want to reinstall it. Let’s go through a few steps to get it back and set it up.

    a. Download HP Smart App
      • Open the Mac App Store on your Mac.
      • In the search bar, type “HP Smart”.
      • Click Get / Install to download and install the app.

    b. Launch the App and Sign In
      • Open the HP Smart app from your Applications folder or Launchpad.
      • Sign in with your HP account or create one if needed.

    c. Add Your Printer
      • Make sure your OfficeJet Pro 8020 is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac (or connected via USB if preferred).
      • Click Add Printer in the app and select your printer from the list.

    d. Test Printer Functionality
      • Try printing a test page or scanning a document to ensure the app and printer are communicating correctly.

    e. Update Printer Software (Optional)
      • In HP Smart, go to Printer Settings > Printer Updates.
      • Install any available firmware or driver updates to keep your printer running smoothly.

I hope this helps.
