I have an M1132 multifunction printer that I left open for 6 hours with the toner removed. When I inserted a new toner, from that moment it stopped scanning multiple pages. It can only scan a single page into a PDF. I uninstalled the old drivers and installed the new ones from your website, but I still cannot scan multiple pages into one file. Please provide instructions on how to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance.

Hi @lepojka,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are experiencing an issue with your HP M1132 Multifunction Printer where it only scans a single page into a PDF instead of multiple pages. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Check HP Scan Software Settings:

  • Ensure that you are using the HP Scan software, which provides options for scanning multiple pages.

  • Open the HP Scan software on your computer.

  • Check the scan settings to ensure you have selected "Document" or "PDF" as the file type, which supports multi-page scanning.

Use HP App or Full Feature Software:

Review Scanner Settings:

  • Go to the scanner settings in the HP software and look for an option labeled "Multi-Page PDF" or "Scan to PDF."

  • Enable any option that allows multi-page scanning.

Update Firmware:

  • Check for firmware updates for your printer. Sometimes, software updates can fix specific issues with scanning functionalities.

  • You can do this by visiting the HP https://support.hp.com/us-en   and entering your printer model to find any available firmware updates.

Reinstall HP Software:

  • Uninstall the current HP software and drivers completely from your computer.
  • Reboot your computer and then reinstall the latest drivers and software from the HP Support website.

Use Windows Fax and Scan Utility:

  • If the issue persists, you might want to try using the built-in Windows Fax and Scan utility.
  • Search for "Windows Fax and Scan" on your computer, and set up a new scan profile with multiple pages enabled.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
