Samsung Xpress SL-M2070FW Laser Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

My Win 11 laptop went belly up, so I re-installed Win 11 and am now re-installing all my Apps etc, including Easy Document Creator for my trusty SL-M2070FW printer/scanner. I downloaded & installed the driver (using SamsungUniversalPrintDriver3.exe) and EDC (using WIN_EDC_V2.02.61.exe), both installers freshly downloaded from HP's support website. M2070 is connected through WiFi. Successfully printed a test page. I ran EDC and selected "Scan". It does not see the M2070, saying, "Device Not Connected". No devices are shown in the device selection pull-down. Win 11 Settings sees 2 Samsung devices: a "Samsung Scanner Class Driver", which is idle, and a "Samsung M2070 Print/Scan", which is what I named it. What have I done wrong? Why doesn't EDC see the M2070?

Never mind. Turns out I needed to click on the "search" control to the left of the device selection pull-down. Then I could add the scanner to the device selection pull-down and select it.
