I had a catastrophic failure of my M252dw, so I got a replacement from eBay. (First mistake, right?) I replaced the printer, configured the wireless, and it prints fine in simplex mode. However, even when I set the printer properties to flip on long edge, it will not duplex automatically. Was there a build of M252dw printers that could not duplex automatically? What steps can I take to enable auto-duplexing? I mean, my first M252dw auto-duplexed perfectly, but not this replacement... Thoughts?
EDIT: Windows 11, and I just downloaded and installed the current driver package (filename: HP_LaserJet_M252_Full_Software_and_Drivers_15311)

Disregard request for help - I figured it out. I had to manually set the printer's configuration to reflect that the printer has a duplexer installed. Steps to fix for those who might see this post (Windows 11):
Assumption: M252dw printer drivers are installed and the device is visible in Printers & Scanners.
1. Open Printers and Scanners by pressing the Windows key and typing "pri". The first option should be Printers & Scanners.
2. Click the M252dw printer in the list.
3. Click "Printer Properties" in the list. The Printer Properties dialog should open.
4. Click the "Device Settings" tab.
5. The only option that should be available here is "Duplex Unit", and by default when installing the M252 driver, it sets to "uninstalled". Change it to "Installed".
6. Click the [OK] button.
Close any active print dialogs that are open and try to print a multipage document again. When printing, ensure that "duplex printing" or whatever the app's dialog shows is selected. Each application is different, and after updating the driver settings, it might be necessary to set it one more time in each application being use to send documents to the printer.
These steps worked for me. Good luck!
