can someone please post a non damaged link for the downgrade software for a M254DW has to be for IOS, not windows. I have readily found the windows drivers.

I have the same exact issue, same printer same OS. I've tried the WineBottler app to make the Windows version of the firmware downgrade work but so far I have not succeeded. I'm probably doing it wrong. If anyone has an idiot's guide please let me know.

I contacted the company that made my generic cartridges, they sent me the a copy of the previous firmware. It was the Windows version but I ran it thru the Wine app (which is easier to work with than it looks initially https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bz-nI4LW2Jw&t=277s&ab_channel=CyberandYou ) and that did the trick. If you want to give me your address I can email it to you, this forum doesn't let you upload files, and certainly not the one that solves this issue 😂
