Hi, I recently tried to update my LaserJet Pro M28W but unfortunately it got wrong. Now a HP message blinks on te screen, and so does the power LED. How could I revert the failed update?
Thanks.

Thanks for clarifying @rderep
Please follow below steps to physically reinforce a firmware installation for the printer through a USB connection, any printer reset will not resolve a such, the printer firmware physically installed on the printer board is curropt
- From This PC select C drive and create a new folder, name it as M28
- Download both below files to this folder:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/ready2dl/HP_Laserjet_Pro_M28_M31_Multifunction_series_FW_U...
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/ready2dl/USBSend.exe - On your PC search for CMD and select Run as Administrator.
- Paste below command and press Enter:
cd c:\M28 - Now paste below command and press Enter:usbsend HP_Laserjet_Pro_M28_M31_Multifunction_series_FW_Update_20200609.ENG.rfu
- You should see a File Download Complete message following the command, allow several minutes to complete the process and the printer should restart automatically and get back to ready mode with a solid power light, if this doesn't happen within 10 minutes restart the printer and ensure its functionality
Once you are done, through a USB connection download and install the latest firmware from hp.com on your printer again:

Hi,
To better understand what may be tried to better understand the current printer condition, Is the printer connected to the wireless network or with a USB cable to your computer?
Also, search for Device Manager on your computer and open the Device Manager
Can you see any HP instance within the Universal Serial Bus Controllers or the Other Devices section?

Hi,
The failed update ocurred wirelessly, but after that happened I connected it to my PC and when I powered it on it appeared in the Device Manager as an USB Device, but not as a printer. I tried to install the drivers while connecting it via USB without luck. I think that the printer needs a NVRAM reset, for what I have found on other posts.
Thanks!
