Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

As subject states: M4 Max Mac Studio - need printer driver for HP Deskjet 2050

 

My mac is on the latest Mac OS: Sequoia 15.3.2. 

When I try to set up my printer, it appears as though I can print but when I click print the item immediately leaves my queue with nothing happening to my printer. The current available drivers do not work. Please advise on how to resolve. My printer works on older computers.

(1) Connect your printer with USB cable

(2) Then install the next software:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Hello - I followed the instructions but the test page (nor any other document) would print after I completed the instructions. How should I proceed?
