Thanks

Problem Solved. Had to download and install " Standard TCP IP printer port" then used HP 6MP driver. Works great. Thanks for the help. 🙂

Hmmm....I am suspecting your printer is connected to the network currently? I am digging back in my brain-
-If your printer is on the network you should be able to do an "add printer wizard" using the TCP/IP address of the M401n and for a driver from the Manufacturers Printers list select "Apple" and "Apple Laserwriter II driver.
-or try an HP/LaserJet 4MP or 5MP. I am not positive this will work- but I think your chances may be pretty good. The LaserJet 4MP/5MP had more than one tray so you should get at least 2 tray options.....
-No guarantee this will work. If you are USB connected- I cannot think of anything that will work since there are no compatible drivers out there that Windows 98 will be able to match to during the plug and play event.
-In Windows 98 Microsoft had very little network discovery capabilities- so you should be better over a network connection.......basically the OS will not know what printer is connected on the network.....

The good thing is that the M401 supports PCL6, PCL5, and Postscript. The drivers I recommended are PostScript drivers...if you wanted to try a PCL5 driver you could experiment with the HP 5P print driver.
PCL6 drivers for Windows 98 were just becoming available in that time. Most of those drivers were downloads only and not available In OS......
