Hello, I have this printer that continues to print only from the Tray 1, which is very burdensome. I want to change the default printing tray to either tray 2 or tray 3. I have searched all over including the forums, but perhaps I missed something. Please help me with this, thank you

Unfortunately you do not state the operating system of your computer. Instructions below only apply to windows based computers. On your computer go to control panel>devices and printers and then right click on the icon for your printer and select "printer properties" from the drop down menu. Click on the "advanced" tab at the top of the window and then click on "printing defaults" Then click on "printing shortcuts" and change the default tray from automatically select to the tray that you wish to use as the default and click apply. This will set the default settings to that tray. Image below is from HP UPD V7.2, but most HP drivers should appear the same. Just make sure that the paper size and type set on the printer match the driver or you will get prompts to add paper when you print.
