Product: Officejet pro 8600

I am trying to install printer drivers for my M1 MacBook running Mac OS 12.0.1

 

I have downloaded easy start and run it. the program recognises my printer but sticks on preparing for device setup. It will not download any drivers.

 

How can I install drivers for my printer?

Hi,

Download and install below drivers for your printer:

https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/macOS12/hp...

 

During the installation open the Security settings as prompt, be sure to unlock the dialog and click Allow to allow the drivers installation.

 

Once completing the installation, open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign, be sure to select the printer model within the Use drop-down menu.
