Hi @pmviolin,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out. I'll be glad to help you get your HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e connected to your MacBook Pro and iPhone.

To better understand what's happening, could you share a few more details?

  • Are both your MacBook Pro and iPhone connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer?
  • What happens when you try to connect? For example:
    • The printer isn't found during setup.
    • The connection fails or times out.
    • You receive an error message.
    • The printer appears but won't print.
  • Are you using the HP app or Apple AirPrint to connect?
  • Is the printer already connected to your Wi-Fi network, or are you trying to set it up for the first time?
  • Does the printer display any messages or error codes on its screen?

If you're seeing an error message, please share the exact wording. If possible, upload a photo or screenshot of the error from your Mac, iPhone, or the printer's display. That will help us identify the cause more quickly and provide the most appropriate solution.

Once we have these details, we'll guide you through the next steps to get your OfficeJet Pro 9120e connected and printing successfully.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
