I desperately need to reset My printer. Have tried Holding Down the wifi and cancel button While turning on, but it dosn’t do as expected. The software isn’t help

please help me

the printer is producing some kind of “shadow” at the end of the documents, and is useless to me 😒

Here are some general steps you can try to reset your HP printer.

 

Power Cycle:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Reset Network Settings:

  • On the printer control panel, navigate to the network settings.
  • Look for an option to reset the network settings. This might vary depending on your printer model.

Factory Reset:

  • Access the printer's control panel or menu.
  • Look for a "Restore Defaults" or "Factory Reset" option. This is usually located in the settings or preferences menu.

HP Smart App:

  • You can also try using the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device to manage your printer settings and perform a reset.

 

If these steps do not resolve the print quality issue, it's possible that the problem is related to the printer hardware or toner cartridges.

There is no factory reset option n the printers menu system, or In the software… 😒

I think it’s a special case with this model. Other threads confirms that assumption… 

The WiFi/cancel button combination when turning on the printer should  be the solution, but it dos not reset… It boots normally and the problem remains 🤔

The manual says nothing of factory reset at all

so what to do next ?

I do not understand Why it is so difficult. Other users of the same printer and the same request is having sent special Secret recipes on email… why is it such a big deal to make a factory reset ?

my printer is 18 month old and there is no guarantee anymore, but its almost new because I haven’t used it for more than 50-60 sheets

its so  annoying
