I am trying to install a LaserJet Pro MFP M127 fn printer onto a new Windows 11 computer connecting over USB. I have tried on two different new computers with the same result. I have also downloaded the latest drivers. I have tried replacing the USB cord.
Each time the install proceeds and indicates that the product is detected. I then wait while it is setting up at 99% I get an error message that setup has failed. I'm out of ideas.

Hi,
Generally, the printer is not compatible with Windows 11 and the drivers are not intended for the operating system.
You may try following below steps and check if that may work, but it may and may not...
Please click the Setup / Wrench button on the printer and using the side arrows locate Service, then press OK.
Navigate the Service menu for an HP Smart Install option and then press OK and disable the feature.
Be sure to confirm any prompt and restart the printer and then try reinstalling the latest printer drivers again and check if that may work.
If it doesn't work, be aware that your printer is not compatible with Windows 11 and no compatibility is offered, the drivers are not designed or tested to be used with Windows 11:
