So, I have a MacBook Pro and an HP LaserJet MFP M281fdw and I cannot print wirelessly all of a sudden.  The Mac os is Monterey 12.6.3--updated a day or two ago.  I have updated the firmware and the software for the printer.  Both computer and printer are connected to the WiFi network and have very strong signals.  I have rebooted the network several times.  Same with the computer and the printer.  When I connect the printer to the MacBook using the USB cable, it prints fine.  I can print wirelessly using the WiFi Direct function.  The regular WiFi printing function does not work.  When I disconnect the USB cable the computer cannot find the printer!  Any ideas out there?

Hi @SDMck

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are facing connectivity issues with your HP Printer.

I suggest you reinstall the driver and connect the printer to check if that fixes the issue.

You can follow the steps under this link to uninstall.

Furthermore, you can reinstall using HP Smart App from this link.
