I have a new M430, and I've been getting it set up in my office. One frustrating issue has been getting it set up to scan with my macbook.

 

I called in to Support and spent a little over an hour working with them. We finally got the scanner recognized in HP Easy Scan and also in HP Smart, but it will not scan. It would not from Windows either until we did a firmware update.

 

Support has stated that HP did not make the driver or software for Macs to be compatible with the M430, but only for scanning.

 

I can't find anywhere that states it's not supported (or that it's only supported on Windows). Has anybody heard this before?
