Displaying Verifying with a rotating circle.
I have gone though the previous suggestions of cycling power for a hard reset.
I have pulled and reinserted the cartridges.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing. Printer cannot be found on network.
Out of airspeed, altitude , and ideas.

Asked a trusted friend to take a look at VERIFYING.
With the printer powered, a USB, and a Network plugged in. the M479 was still "doing its thing" verifying.
A very small x observed in the lower left corner of the display screen. Pressed same.
Printer did a download and "updated" after again VERIFYING.
Our guess is as follows:
1) Printer firmware updates in the backgound through a USB.
2) I inadvertantly, had cut the power overnight.
3) printer tried to verify the upload. Could not find it.
4) Selecting the "x" restarted the firmware down load
5) Validated download, updated, and returmed to normal operation.
6) Document printed that was stuck in the queue.
Had my friend not noticed the x and known that HP updates firmware, only through the USB,
I would still be down over a simple issue.
PLEASE let me know if this is a valid explanation and fix.
Thank you.
