New HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 (new Nov 18, 2022), unable to print from websites

Able to print from printer bed, however

Searched for updated drivers but HP states this model is inactive without any

support resources. Makes one not want to purchase any HP printers anymore,

Have had HP printers for 15+ years. Any advice from previous users?

There is win11 support for the 6978 and also a firmware update that came out just this year.

What do you mean by "unable to print from website"

The browser you are using may not have the print button where you can see it.   Printing the info displayed by a website is a function of the browser and the OS.

Try edge, chrome or firefox. If safari cannot print then install  firefox or chome.

Note that some popup blockers will prevent the printing dialog box from being displayed.
