Hi @1dav,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To use your HP PSC 2175 All-In-One Printer with scanning functionality on Windows 11, you can follow these steps to install the appropriate drivers:

  • Check Windows Update: Sometimes, Windows Update automatically downloads and installs the necessary drivers for your printer. Ensure that your Windows 11 system is up to date by checking for updates in the Settings app.
  • Download Drivers from HP Website: If Windows Update doesn't automatically install the drivers, you can download them manually from the HP website. Here's how:
  • a. Visit the HP support website: Software and Drivers for HP PSC 2175 All-in-One Printer
  • b. Enter your printer model, "PSC 2175", and search for it.
  • c. Make sure to select the correct operating system, in your case, Windows 11.
  • d. Download the appropriate driver package for your printer. You might find both basic drivers and full-featured drivers. It's recommended to download the full-featured driver package if available.
  • Install the Drivers: After downloading the driver package, follow these steps to install the drivers:
  • a. Locate the downloaded driver package and double-click on it to start the installation process.
  • b. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. This usually involves agreeing to terms and conditions and selecting installation options.
  • c. Once the installation is complete, restart your computer to apply the changes.
  • Test Scanning: After restarting your computer, try scanning a document using the scanning software provided by HP or using Windows built-in scanning features.
  • a. You can typically find scanning software installed along with the drivers. Look for HP scanning software in your list of installed programs or search for it in the Start menu.
  • b. Alternatively, you can use the built-in scanning features of Windows 11. Open the Windows Scan app or search for "Windows Scan" in the Start menu.
  • Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues during the installation or scanning process, refer to the troubleshooting User guide  User guide manual

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
