Product: officejet 8610

I have an Officejet 8610, and on installing Mac OS 13.4 Ventura it has stopped working.

 

I've followed all the HP on line advice but no luck so far. The HP Easy Start, and HP Smart mac software can recognise that the printer is on the network, but then just hangs at the next step - gathering information etc.

I've followed old info on the forums but some pages linked to are 404 not found, finding up to date info seems difficult.

 

My older mac running OS 11.77 can still access and use the printer.

 

Grateful for any advice
