Samsung MultiXpress SL-X4250
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Hi there

We have been having quite a few problems with the Samsung MultiXpress SL-X4250 on the Mac OS for some time now. In the version MacOS 11 (BigSur), the driver has always "forgotten" the range of functions. The printer has a booklet unit, hole punch, multiple trays, etc. installed. These could be selected with the driver, after a print job these settings were lost again. Subsequently, these could be selected again, after a print job they were gone again.
Therefore, after a short test, we also immediately switched to MacOS 12 (Monterey). Here the settings remain consistent, but a print job now suddenly takes hours instead of seconds! The driver is not really made for this version.
While the printers from another large manufacturer run flawlessly (new drivers are already available), we are quite worried about the driver development from HP.
Is there a solution or a tip in the foreseeable future, how we can get this printer to run cleanly?
What can I serve so that someone can give more tips?

Thanks
