Hello!
I have an HP OfficeJet 5255 All‑in‑One Printer that uses Instant Ink. I updated my MacBook Pro to version 11.1: Big Sur and started receiving the malware notifications on my computer. Ex. "HPDeviceMonitoring.framework will damage your computer" and "Inkjet1.driver will damage your computer." I did not have any issues before the update. Every time I close out the malware alert, another one pops up! My computer can no longer communicate with my printer. When I try printing, it sits indefinitely trying to locate the printer.
The fixes I have seen online include uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling - the problem is, HP doesn't have my drivers on their webpage anymore. When I search for my printer it says they are unable to find drivers for my product. My printer also does not support AirPrint and HP Easy Start is not supported on 11.1 Big Sur - so I cannot use those fixes.
Is there anything I can do to get my printer working again? It printed beautifully before the Mac Update - I would hate to have to buy a whole new printer because of HP's oops. Thank you for your help!
