Hello, can you tell me if these two printers are compatible with Mac OS Catalina 10.15.3?

Also, which is the better printer if you are not a power user, and need a good home product for occasional use.

Yes, both models are compatible with Catalina.

 

Generally, the Envy 5050 printer is a newer model, but the specifications are identical for both, same ink cartridges, same system requirements, same print, scan, and copy specifications:
