Product: HP Photosmart 2575
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

Hello

 

I'm struggling to find the latest Mac drivers for this printer or even to identify that the printer existed on the HP support website.

 

I can understand that printers would not be supported for all the latest system OS' but I can't see why HP would not keep their last version on the support website or at least give guideance?

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

Print and scan drivers for your printer are avialable via Apple Software Update.

 

Follow these steps to install the printer on your Mac:

Thanks for your assistance.

 

I have installed some new cartridges and have the HP PHotosmart 2570 series selected on printers and scanners with preferences.

 

I can print test documents from the HP unitlity whioch suggests the MacBook Pro is connecting to the printer and that the cartidges are working.

 

However when I go to print from an application (mail or safari for example) I select the 2570 series, and iniate the print but from there nothing happens and nothing appears in the print queue.

 

|I'm wondering if the HP PHotosmart 2570 series would for sure include the PHotosmart 2575? (I would assume so).

 

Also the cartridges are not HP manufactured.

 

Ay assistance would be appreciated.
