macOS 10.14 Mojave

I'm trying to instal the driver for the Laserjet P1102 printer on my Mac running 1.14 (Mojave) but after downloading and installing the driver, the printer doesn't come up as a PRINTER in the print dialogue box, but a SCANNER. Is there a fault with the driver or the Mac os or somewhere else? How do I fix this?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is showing up as a scanner after installing the driver.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you remove the printer from your computer and then download and install the driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then update the printer firmware following the steps in the below article.
