Does Scan to online folder work for Macs?

The software download info implies it's Windows only, but I don't see why it should be.

Hi,

Scanning to a shared folder should work on Mac OS too.

 

Your printer software for Mac OS can be installed using HP Easy Start:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

To set up a shared folder, share it from your Mac and ensure SMB is enabled for your Mac and for your user account too, then follow Method two: Set up the Scan to Network Folder feature via the HP Embedded Web Server to configure it:

Easy start doesn’t work right on a Mac with OS10.4 Mojave. But it seems to do the essential installations before it dies. It never finishes, just loops forever. Thanks for the instructions.
