Macintosh Driver for HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series

While AirPrint is very handy in setting up a printer, it does not ideal for a school setting.  I have students printing to this printer for whatever reason.  I need the actual Macintosh drivers so I can install it on a few computers that need to print to this printer but can not find them on hp anywhere.  Are the days of actual print drivers gone?

I'd like to help!

I understand you are trying to find the drivers for your printer.

The OfficeJet pro 9020 series full-featured drivers are not available for mac os 10.14.

You could install HP Smart from the App store to be able to use the printer settings.

When you use the HP Smart app, it just defaults to AirPrint which defeats what I'm trying to do.

Did you install HP Smart from the HP website or from the App store?

Try updating mac and printer firmware
 
To update the printer's firmware, refer - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 
 To update Mac, try these steps - How to update the software on your Mac

Uninstall the HP Smart applications - 

Note: when you uninstall the application the devices added to the application will be removed and you might have added the printers back again.

Please remove /Users/Username/Library/Containers/HP Smart/containers.plist and then launch HP Smart from the Applications folder and go through the setup again.
