We have about 45 HP printers on our network, in multiple locations, the model numbers vary.
Is there some software that will allow me to manage all these from one location instead of going from one web interface to another? I specially want to manage the firmware updates.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Either HP Web JetAdmin (free software) or HP Security Manager (paid service).
Depending on requirements, Web Jet is pretty useful and offers features such as templates to apply features across your fleet including pushing firmware updates and supplies monitoring. HP Security Manager is designed to maintain the security level of printers and audit security level of printers. It will monitor and if a printer is reset will push the security settings out again.
As it does not cost anything I would try Web Jet and see if it meets all your requirements.
