I've had my printer for some years and have recently updated my PC to Windows 10 (64-bit).

i've never used this before, but recently i've needed to insert a media card into my printer in order to open the photos up to edit them.  My printer does not recognise when i insert the media card, please can someone help!!!

I appreciate your time and effort.

 

If you want to use the media card less than 2GB and it does not get recognized, 

Take a back of the date in the media card then format it.

But as you are using media card which is greater than 2GB, I request you to use a 2GB card to print.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that memory card is not recognized in your printer.

 

Memory cards with a capacity greater than 2 GB are not currently supported.

If it is less than 2GB, format and try to connect it again.

 

If the issue persists, I am sending you a private message. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

Thanks. It is greater than 2GB, but if it wasn’t, then formatting the card would defeat the object of extracting the photos in order to save/edit/print them.
