HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw
Microsoft Windows XP

Hi, trying to install the Mfp 227fdw to a computer running windows xp. When the software is downloaded, I did check the .cab file as I was told it was an invalid digital signature. Sure enough, it expired in 4/22. Can HP send me a new driver download to install?

thanks!

@Andysuss,

Thank you for your response, there is no support for Windows XP anymore from HP. Now the software cannot be updated manually. I suggest you update the Operating system to a newer version or install the printer using Windows built-in driver. Refer to this document to know how. Try printing. Use Deskjet 990c driver if your printer is not listed. Refer to this document HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) for help

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi, the software for Microsoft xp (32 bit) still tells me it can’t be done and faulty. Imagine the digital signature is still expired if I drill in. You guys able to update the software? I did use your link for XP. Thanks!
