Hi,
I have recently bought a HP Pavilion AIO desktop. I realized after installing my printer that all programs (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, adobe acrobat reader etc) offers the option of duplex printing, with the exception of Microsoft Word 2017.
I tried deleting and reinstalling the printer driver several times, but to no avail.
Is there anyone who has faced a similar problem and managed to overcome it?
Thank you.
Regards,
Louis

Hi Louis,
What is your printer model?
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled for the pritner as following:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.
If there is still no change, click File > Print from Word and then click the Proerties button, may you then select duplex printing from within the Printing Preferences dialog itself?

Hi Shlomi,
Thank you for your suggestion.
When I got to the Device Settings tab of Printer Properties, it show the image below.
However, despite not having the duplex printing option available in this tab, I do have the choice of printing dupelx using Excel, Powerpoint etc, except for Microsoft Word.
Clicking File > Print does not provide an option for duplex printing as well.
Any other possibilities?
Thank you.
Regards,
Louis
