I was guided when trying to connect my printer to my desktop computer (which had gotten the white screen of death and was factory reset) from the HP Smart Install via a chat box that had me call a phone number [Content Removed] in Florida a person by the name of Edward White with an foreign accent answered. They claimed to be able to fix my issue, showed me that my computer was being subjected to hacking attempts, cleaned up my computer and did connect my printer and all works well. They charged me $400 for a four year contract. I was probably scammed.
Is that something HP is aware off that from your website people are intercepting part of your business?
I do have a contract and an invoice, so it all looks very legitimate.
The company MiroSoft LLC is very hard to find on the web. They are listed on the BBB website with complaints. When I pointed out to them their deceiving practice they were quick to state that they did fix the issue.
I have to have my computer again looked out by experts to see what they installed if anything malicious.
Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks.

Sadly there is no shortage of scammy websites, posing as if they are HP and roping people in purchasing uneeded contracts, unneeded hardware and software. HP works had to shut down sites that steal elements of their website to fool the unwary. Sorry to hear you got scammed, I would attempt a chargeback on this with your credit card company, if that is how you paid.
I am a volunteer, offering my knowledge to support fellow users, I do not work for HP nor speak for HP.

Mirosoft LLC got in my computer and did something, end result, my printer is connected and works. How do I assess what they have done to my computer? They add the HP icon for ordering supplies and have some programs installed as well.
This is what I can find they installed and something
Do we need to get Microsoft involved as well?
I currently have a dispute in with the credit card, maybe this will be refunded?
Thanks very much for your help. Just wished that I could have reached you before they started all this, but working with an AI on your system just gave me the run round.
Thanks.
