I have a missing piece to my printer. It looks like the “flip down” piece that pushes and holds the black ink cartridge in is gone completely. I can’t find the piece anywhere in my apartment and don’t see it loose in the printer any where. How exactly do I find the right piece and either try to fix it myself or should I take it somewhere to be fixed?
Thank you!

Hi @MegB27

You may need to take the printer to some place to be fixed.

That part is not sold separately, and you may need to search in places like eBay or some other online vendors who sell refurbished printer parts.

But you can see that the final cost to fix it could be quite similar to buy a new printer.  🤔

So it is your choice, whether if you want to fix it or think twice about it,

and think if maybe is a time to go for a new printer.
