HP LaserJet MFP M141w Printer

When did the norm became that entry level HP laser printers don't have  manual two-sided (Duplex) Printing manual two sided printing option?
I have owned old hp1010 and few revisions of them and they are still in use at my parents and granparents house, and they do have option to print double sided but you have to manually feed and turn pages.

That option is missing in M141W, and I would like to know how can we  submit a request to HP so they return that optioin for printers without hardware duplex support, since it is criminal to cut software and driver options for basic printers that were there for ages.
