Missing the "Expert" scan software for MB2120 multi

I have the MB2120, but could not make the forum software accept it.  I installed it on another computer a  year ago, and it provided an "Expert" scan software (allowing setting all the versatile scan choices, like color mode and dpi, and marking a preview, etc).  It all worked well.

Then recently, I moved the MB2120 to another of my computers (which incidentally already had a Canon Pro-100 printer installed, with its Quick Menu, of course without scanning software). The MB2120 installed easily, but provided only a very fully auto scan, allowing no choices other than document, photo, etc.  How can I get the more fully versatile scanning MB2120 software again, which allows all scan choices?  I'm wondering if the Pro-100 blocked it somehow?   Both computers are Windows 10.

What is your printer model ? is it an HP Deskjet, HP Laserjet, HP Photosmart or HP Envy printer ?

HP named it a Maxify MB2120 printer, a multi with fax and a sheet feed scanner.  At installation on a different Win10 computer, it provided full scan software, offering full selection of options, including mode, dpi, cropped input, etc.

But moved to a second Win10 computer, it only provides a very simplified automatic scanner, with only choices of like Document or Photo, etc.  I'd like to know how to get the full scanning software back.
