Hello, I moved my HP4100e from the US to UK.  the 305 cartridges that are supposed to be compatible do not fit the region.  I have changed my region setting through the HP smart app, turned off printer, on and off etc.  I have switched between cartridges, reset settings etc etc.  and nothing will actually change the setting permanently or allow my printer to accept the UK version of the cartridge, which is identical in my understanding.  HP - please help with a fix for this.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you moved and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. 

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
