I have a monthly HP instaprint account. I will be staying elsewhere for the next few weeks and wonder if I can pack up my printer and move it to that location to use. Is it complicated to do? I’m not the most computer techy person. Thanks

@Barnettca, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Moving your HP printer to your daughter’s house for a few weeks is absolutely doable, and it’s not complicated at all. Since you’re using HP Instant Ink, here are a few simple steps to ensure everything works smoothly:
What You Need to Do:
Pack the Printer Safely
- Remove any paper from the tray and cartridges if needed.
- Use the original box or a sturdy one with padding to protect the printer during transport.
Set Up at the New Location
- Plug in the printer and connect it to Wi-Fi at your daughter’s house.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi network has internet access.
Check HP Instant Ink Connection
- Your printer should automatically reconnect to HP Instant Ink if it has internet access.
- You can verify this by logging into your HP Instant Ink Dashboard and checking the printer status.
Print as Usual
- You can continue printing normally. HP Instant Ink will still monitor usage and send ink if needed, as long as the printer stays online.
Tips:
- If you face any issues connecting to Wi-Fi, you can use the HP Smart App to help set up the printer again. Download it from here - HP Smart
- Also, make sure to restore the network settings to default while using at a new location or with a new network, these documents will come in handy - HP printers - Wi-Fi connection is lost after router or network settings change | HP® Support

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
