I am migrating to a new computer.  I want to move my existing "Print Task Quick Sets" to the new machine.  What is the name of the file I need to move, I.E., where are "Print Task Quick Sets" specifications stored?  Thanks in advance.

Not sure whether all (or really any) Laser Printers currently support this action.

I found the following article - if your printer provides the described "action sets" on the printer home screen or within the Quick Sets feature as accessed from the Embedded Web Server (EWS), then consider "Save to Network Folder", "Save to USB", or "Save to SharePoint".   Note:  If you do not know what "SharePoint" means, you are not using it - ignore this one.

NOTE:  Information offered "As-Is" - I cannot test or verify.

Article:

Customize printer job short-cuts using Quick Sets

Open the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Side Bar

IF the Embedded Web Server is available (printer must be on the network),

If the action sets are not available as described,

If the EWS provides some form of "backup" for the EWS / printer configuration setup:

It is possible that the Settings in the EWS can be backed up.

NOTE:

That you could safely copy that type of backup to another printer of a different model is unlikely.

Doing so might work, might not work (simply refuse), or you might kill the recipient printer.

Be careful, in other words.

It is also possible that the Quick-Set data is stored in the computer as a file - at this writing, I do not know the name of such a file nor its location.
