Hi!

Until a few days ago, my printer was able to store the current date & time in its configuration. Now every time I turn the printer on, the date is 01/01/00 and time 00:00. I am able to change date and time in the printer setup, but when I turn it off and on again the date and time are gone!

Other settings like the fixed IP address, paper size, etc. are not lost ...

Is there any setup battery like on a PC motherbord? The problem is not critical since everything is working fine (printer and scanner).

Thank you for your help.

Yes, the battery on the mainboard is probably bad, the battery location bottom right, complicated to replace the mainboard could fail totally.

The battery seems to be soldered to the motherboard ... I think I'll need my soldering iron! Does anybody know the type and voltage of the battery ?
