Hi @chouchou25,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your DeskJet 3637 is brand new but not printing at all. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Confirm the printer is properly set up

Make sure all packing materials inside the printer and cartridge area are removed.

Check that the ink cartridges are fully clicked into place.

Run a power reset

Turn the printer on → unplug the power cord from the back.

Wait 60 seconds → plug it back in and restart.

Check the printer’s status lights

If any icons are blinking (paper, ink, Wi-Fi), note which one.

These lights indicate what’s blocking the print job.

Print a test page directly from the printer

Hold the Resume/Cancel button for 3 seconds.

If the printer prints the test page, the hardware is working.

Verify the correct printer is selected on your PC/phone

In the print dialog, ensure “HP DeskJet 3630 series” is chosen.

Remove any older or duplicate printer entries.

Check if the printer is offline or paused

Windows: Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Printers → DeskJet → Open Queue.

Make sure “Use Printer Offline” or “Pause Printing” is not enabled.

Reinstall using HP Smart

Remove the printer from your device.

Install it again using the HP Smart app to load the correct driver.

Check the paper path

Load plain A4 or Letter paper.

Make sure no torn paper or obstruction is inside.

Try printing from another device

Test from your phone using the HP Smart app.

If it prints there, the PC driver needs reinstalling.

I hope this helps.
