HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 11, my HP ENVY 4520 series printer will not print any colors. Only prints in greytone. I have reinstalled the printer driver several times to fix this problem, but it will not go away. I have drilled down in the printer setup to color setup, and found it is set to greytone. When I try changing to color printing, the driver ignores my changes and reverts to greytone. Please help! Is there another driver more compatible with Windows 11?

1. Try to install the next driver for your printer:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/EN4520/EN4520_Basicx64_36.0.72.exe

 

2.  Also you can try to reinstall HP driver once again, just to check if color print is back again.

Thanks for your suggestion. Before receiving your fix, I did another reinstall of the HP driver and the color printing finally started working.  Appreciate your help.
