Hi @RonFL10,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to change the language on your HP ENVY 4520 All-In-One Printer back to English, follow these steps:

Power On the Printer: Ensure the printer is turned on.

Open the Printer Control Panel: Locate the touch screen display on the printer.

Access the Settings Menu: Since the language is different, the icons will guide you:

  • Look for a gear icon, which typically represents the Settings menu.
  • If you don't see a gear icon, look for an icon that might represent tools or a wrench.

Navigate to Language Settings:

  • Scroll through the menu options to find the language settings. This is usually represented by an icon of a globe or two letters (like "AB").
  • Select this icon.

Select the Desired Language:

  • A list of languages should appear.
  • Scroll through the list and select "English."

Confirm the Selection:

  • Confirm the change if prompted.

If you're unable to follow the steps due to unfamiliar language, you can perform a semi-full reset to reset the printer to its factory default settings:

Performing a Semi-Full Reset

Turn off the Printer: Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer while it is still on.

Disconnect All Cables: Unplug any other cables connected to the printer.

Wait 30 Seconds: Leave the printer unplugged for at least 30 seconds.

Reconnect the Power Cord: Plug the power cord back into the printer.

Turn on the Printer: The printer should start up and go through its initial setup.

Select the Language: During the setup process, you should be prompted to select your language. Choose "English" from the list.

These steps should help you revert your printer language back to English.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
