HP Office Jet Pro

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9012, I had a paper jam and removed that, then after loading new paper the paper tray won't close all the way.  I have looked and nothing seems broken, I have loaded new paper many times.

So frustrating as I have a document to print.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are unable to close the input tray, follow these steps to fix the issue.

  1. Make sure the stack of paper is aligned with the appropriate paper size lines on the front of the tray. Also, make sure the stack of paper does not exceed the stack height marking on the left edge of the tray.
  2. Adjust the paper-width guides until they touch the left and right edges of the stack of paper.
  3. Reinsert the input tray into the printer.

Refer to steps mentioned on page number 28 in this user guide for more assistance:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.
