My HP Smart App went away from my iMac doc. How do I scan?

I'm on an iMac - OS Sequoia 15.6.1

When I try to download the HP app, I get a prompt saying, "Not compatible with this device".

I bought the printer from Costco in July 2021. 

How do I scan? Thank you.

Alternative Installation Methods

1. Use AirPrint

AirPrint is a built-in macOS driver that allows you to print without installing any additional HP-specific drivers. It's often the easiest and most reliable method.

• Open System Settings and go to Printers & Scanners.

• Click the Add Printer (+) button.

• Select your printer from the list.

• In the "Use" dropdown menu, choose AirPrint or Secure AirPrint.

2. Use HP Easy Start

• Enter your printer model (HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M282-M285) in the search box.
