Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My HP Smart app correctly shows the printer I own, the ink service I subscribe to etc.  When I log into my HP account using the same credentials, neither my printer nor my ink service is displayed.  When I try to add the device using the correct serial number, I get an error message.  It's like I have two accounts... however, it's the same login information.  Please help!
