If I rearrange the numbers, perhaps you are asking about the HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e

If true, then yes -- the printer supports Ethernet.

The following is not "everything" -- it might be enough to provide the information you need to move forward.

-- Start --

Generally, if you plug in a working Ethernet cable from printer to your router, the Wireless will switch off on its own.

-- Just in Case --

 -- Windows --

Worth checking

Turn On or Off AutoSwitch for Wi-Fi Network in Windows 11

Next,

Check your router -- a weak, outdated, incompletely (or incorrectly) configured router is the bane of any network.  No one wants to hear this, of course.  Said another way -- It's worth checking that your router or its setup is not contributing to the problem.

Try a different Ethernet cable.

-- Printer -- Network Configuration --

If your Wireless does not work and the printer cannot connect to the network

AND

If your Ethernet does not work for any reason

try / consider

Open

User Guide - HP OfficeJet Pro 9130e Series

Go to Section Network and connection issues - Starting on Page 108

Read the sub-sections for  Wireless, Wi-Fi Direct, and Ethernet

-- Consider --

Next,

  • Consider Restoring the printer to Network Defaults and possibly even Factory Defaults.
  • Check whether it's time to update the Firmware.

Section Restore Network and / or Factory Defaults - Starting on Page 115

Next,

Lacking any type of network connection, yes -- you'll have to use the printer's control panel to configure the settings.

-- Additional Information --

  HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

If you can get the printer to connect to your network at all, even temporarily, you can try using the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to change the settings over to a working Ethernet connection.

-- Additional Troubleshooting / Details / Examples --

Example – EWS Setup – IPv4

EWS > HP Document / How-to (Basic format)

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

Alternate EWS format (Select newer printers and select Laser Printers)

Open your Browser >

Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Note → If the browser security will not let you open EWS, try a different browser.

Section Network > Primary Ethernet

Check / Adjust Status > IPv4

OR

Check / Adjust IP Config > IPv4

EWS_9135_Network_Primary_Ethernet_Status_IPv4_3

OR

Open your Browser >

Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Note → If the browser security will not let you open EWS, try a different browser.

Section Network > Wi-Fi > Section IP Config > IPv4

EWS_9135_Network_Wi-Fi_IP_Config_IPv4_6

Notes

  • If your browser security will not allow you to open EWS, try a different browser.
  • It is not mandatory that you use a manual / static IP address.  Doing so can improve stability.
  • If needful and if supported, set the Band Frequency to the frequency you want the printer to use.
  • If you assign a manual / static address on the printer, update your router to reflect the assigned IP address.
  • EWS sections might be locked and require the printer’s PIN number to access.  Find the printer’s default PIN inside the ink cartridge ink cartridge / area, or perhaps on the bottom or back of the printer.  Check your printer’s User Guide first chapter for details – search the document for “ PIN “.

 =================================

Printer -- Restore Network / Restore Factory

Open your Browser

Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Note → If the browser security will not let you open EWS, try a different browser.

Section General

Restore Default Settings

OR

Restore All Factory Defaults

EWS_9135_Restore_All_Factory_Defaults_7
