Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased HP Neverstop Laser 1001 printer. I followed all the steps in the setup including power-up and connection with a usb cable to my PC.  As far as I can tell the printer is connected to my WiFi (the network light is flashing). At this point the setup fails to find the printer either wirelessly or wired to usb. I tried both usb 2 and usb-c ports. I also attempted to manually enter my new printer and also went through all the trouble shooting procedures to no avail.

To add insult to injury, HP says my printer is out of warranty,, as of 2 weeks ago.  I bought the printer new in the box on 6/25/2021 from Office Depot. I have disputed the warranty, but in the meantime HP won’t offer any live assistance.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.

A flashing blue wireless light means that the wireless radio is on, but not connected to a network, a solid light indicates a valid connection.

Please unplug the USB cable from the printer and restart the printer.

Can you see the Power light solid lit without any other lights but the wireless light?

Print and evaluate a Wireless Network Test Report:

https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c06378890

Below the Configuration Summary  header see the Network Name (SSID) value, does it list your network name or show otherwise? (such as Not Set)

Assuming your network name is shown there, what can you see below the Troubleshooting header within the middle of the printed page?

Please clarify above information, this will allow some better understanding of what is currently going on.
