My Printer display is locked in "HP Software is Setting up your Printer"

First of all, thank you for your help, your direction to do a cold reset worked, the one on the website did not work for me.
After the factory restart, I got the menu to show, everything for the printer is working, Print, scan from Desktop and laptop and now I can make a copy from the flatbed.
The only issue I now have and it is not a problem is that the HP app is in my Dock but not in my Apps.
I do not use it so it is not an issue for me.
I did call about the tank lights and it is not unusual for them not to light up.
