My Serial number for HP 8620 says not valid

Just bought new hp 8620. The serial number is: CN55GFK0ZV. I've checked the third to the last letter as 0 and as O. Neither appears to be valid. This is the number on the box. Checked multiple times. 

HP keeps saying this s/n is invalid. Thus I cannot add this product to be registered for warranty. Please assist

If this is your printer

HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer series

The printer series was introduced in 2014.

Even if you managed to find one of these in a "new-sealed-in-box"

The printer way past the point where it can be registered for Warranty.

Only products new enough to be under some form of Warranty would be recognized by HP Support.

Registration is under a similar limitation.

This is true regardless of the model.

I do not see any Mac OS versions listed in the available Operating Systems.

There is no Warranty available for a printer of this vintage.

There does not seem to be any MacOS software for it, either.

If you can get it to work, you can use it.
